Rich-text Editor

The rich-text editor is used in various places within the app, for example when sending messages to other users.

The editor provides basic text formatting functions, such as font weight, alignment & web links.

Rich Text Editor - Main Features & Example Formatting

  1. Menu - provides various formatting, editing and insertion functions largely duplicates the Toolbar Functions.
  2. Toolbar - provides various formatting, editing and insertion functions. See Toolbar Functions for details.
  3. Text Area - you can type directly in here. Text can highlighted by clicking/tapping and dragging over it.

  1. Undo - undo your last change.
  2. Redo - redo your last undo.
  3. Formats - menu for various formatting options which can be applied to current line or highlighted text.
  4. Bold - applies bold formatting to current line or highlighted text.
  5. Italic - applies italic formatting to current line or highlighted text.
  6. Left Align - left aligns the current line.
  7. Centre - centres the current line.
  8. Right Align - right aligns the current line.
  9. Justify - justifies the current line.
  10. Bullet List - creates/removes a bullet list at current line or highlighted text.
  11. Numbered List - creates/removes a numbered list at current line or highlighted text.
  12. Decrease Indent - decreases the indent of the current line.
  13. Increase Indent - increases the indent of the current line.
  14. Web Link - creates a web link from the highlighted text - or - changes a web link at the cursor location.
