School Settings

This feature is only available to School Admin users.

To access this feature select the 'Pupil Settings' tab on the 'Signs Ups' page. For help accessing this page see Pupil Self Sign Up.

You can change various settings, which control the options available to your pupils during the self-sign up process. See How Pupils Sign Up for more details of the process from the pupil's perspective.

  1. Training Types - affects which training types are available to choose when signing up. See Custom Training Types for more details.
  2. Show Prices - if toggled a link to your school's prices will be shown on the sign up form. Prices will only be shown if you have set up some pricing information; see Setting Up Prices & Rates for more details
  3. Allow Callbacks - toggle this to allow pupils to request callbacks.
  4.  Allow Callback Time Selection (shown if 1. is toggled) - toggle this to allow pupils to select callback time slots.
  5. Callback Times (shown if 2. is toggled) - toggle the days of the week to enable/disable callback slots for that day.
  6. Callback Times for Day, Disabled - this represents a day for which callback time slots have been disabled.
  7. Callback Times for Day, Enabled - this represents a day for which callback time slots have been enabled, in this example 9am to 5pm.
  8. Callback Reminder Scheduling - toggle this to automatically schedule a follow-up reminder when a pupil requests a specific callback time.
  9. Callback Slot Size - determines how the callback duration (see 5. above) is automatically divided into slots. Note: Multiple pupils can request the same callback slot, the slots are simply a mechanism for giving potential pupils an easy to use method for selecting times. See How Pupils Sign Up for more details.
  10. Callback, Earliest Time - how long after a sign up was started before the time of the first callback slot offered.
  11. Callback Times, Days Ahead - How many days ahead after a sign up was started to offer callback times for.

Custom Training Types

When signing up, prospective pupils can select the type of training they require from a simple drop-down menu within the sign up form.

The system default values are good as a starting point, but if you require customisation of the types available to your prospective pupils you can chose the 'Use Custom' option and click/tap the 'Customise Training Types' link to show a popup allowing you to add, edit and change training types:

  1. Add Training Type - click to add a new training type. This will add an empty row to the list.
  2. Re-order Handle - click and drag to re-order this row. The order in which the types will appear in the drop-down when signing up will be the same as the order in which they appear here .
  3. Name - a short descriptive name for the training type.
  4. Delete - removes the lesson type.
  5. Default - indicates the default type which will be selected when signing up. The first item in the list will always be the default.
  6. Save - click this button to save your changes.

  1. Training Type Item - tap to show a menu with the option to delete a particular type.
  2. Re-order Handle - tap and drag to re-order this row. The order in which the types will appear in the drop-down when signing up will be the same as the order in which they appear here .

  4. Default - indicates the default type which will be selected when signing up. The first item in the list will always be the default.
