3D Secure Verification

With the introduction by banks of enhanced verification and security processes our subscription payment collection now incorporates extra security behaviour.

As part of managing and paying your school's subscription you may be asked to verify your payment card with your bank:

  • When Changing the Payment Card - some cards issued by banks, mainly those within Europe, will ask you to complete a verification process when changing the card. This will require action from an authorised card holder. See the section below for more details.
  • For Regular Subscription Payments (eg. Monthly) - some banks, mainly those within Europe, will occasionally require you to verify your regular subscription payment to Driving School Office before they are processed. This will take the form of an email and will require action from an authorised card holder. See the section below for more details.

 When Changing the Payment Card

  • You may be asked to complete extra verification when entering new card details.
  • The verification will take the form of a popup presented when committing your new payment card details.
  • The verification process used is known as 3D Secure, eg. Verified by Visa, Mastercard SecureCode.
  • The process will need to be completed by an authorised card holder with access to account details and/or online banking.

For Regular Subscription Payments

  • You may occasionally be asked to complete extra verification for regular subscription payments.
  • The verification will take the form of an email sent to you school's billing notification email address from our payment partner, Stripe. Please make sure this email address is up to date and that the associated account is regularly monitored. See Billing Notifications - Email Address for details of how to check and change the billing email address. See below for example an email.
  • The email have a sender of Best Group UK with an email address ending in @stripe.com.
  • The verification process used is known as 3D Secure, eg. Verified by VisaMastercard SecureCode.
  • The process will need to be completed by an authorised card holder with access to account details and/or online banking.
  • If verification is not completed within 7 days the subscription payment will fail and your school will be disabled. A school administrator will have to log and re-enable your subscription to continue. See How We Handle Payment Failures for more details.

Our payment provider, Stripe, will send verification emails:

  • 1 day after the payment was raised.
  • 3 days after the payment was raised.
  • 5 days after the payment was raised.
  • After the 7th day we will automatically cancel your subscription.

Clicking/tapping the 'Confirm Payment' button will start the verification process:

  • The verification process used is known as 3D Secure, eg. Verified by VisaMastercard SecureCode.
  • The process will need to be completed by an authorised card holder with access to account details and/or online banking.
  • Once the 3D Secure process has been completed successfully Driving School Office will be able to collect your latest subscription payment.
